The food was excellent and generous portions. The service was ok, but not as good as we had read in other reviews.

Return as a good quality reliable neighborhood eatingery

I love this place! It's really a hidden jewel! Parking is limited in front, but there are parking spaces on the back and many street parking spaces. I really enjoyed the food from the beginning to the end. I had to start the Bruschetta (delicious), a burger for my main (boiled perfectly) and the frits were crispy, hot and seasoned perfect. Maybe the best dessert was – I forget the name, but it was a fried Cannoli or something, but OMG, it was so good. I will definitely be back! I went on Monday while Trivia, it was an explosion. Probably a bit louder than normal in the bar area, but there is an adjacent dining room that was quieter and more private.

We moved to the area about five months ago and have been struggling to find a go-to neighborhood restaurant and we finally found it!! The food is AMAZING. And I'm a San Francisco foodie, so I don't say that lightly. I had the tenderloin medallions, which were perfectly tender and juicy. The accompanying sauces were a delightful juxtaposition of sweet and spicy, and the mashed potatoes were delicious. My husband had the chicken schnitzel and loved it. He's a pretty picky eater, and he liked it so much, I was lucky to get to taste a bite! Our server, James was fun and friendly, service from the kitchen was slightly slow, but we were the first customers of the evening, so not entirely surprising. Definitely forgivable, and I expect will not be the case on our next visit.

Very friendly staff and an overall pleasant experience. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back again.
