My daughter and I went out yesterday to enjoy some fresh air since it was a beautiful weekend. We watched a great movie—there are a lot of good films coming out in theaters, so definitely check them out! After the movie, we decided to grab some lunch. I wasn’t really in the mood to eat; my daughter has been cooking so much chicken lately that I feel like I'm turning into one! She makes baked chicken, fried chicken, barbecue chicken, and lemon pepper chicken. I realized I must have taught them all the chicken recipes I know, so I even had to dig through my cookbook to see if I had any other recipes I might have forgotten to share! I was definitely all chickened out!
I found an insect that looked like a maggot in my broccoli and cheddar soup, which completely shocked me. I jumped up from the table and took the soup to the counter without even thinking to take a picture. The staff member suggested it might just be broccoli, but I managed to stay calm. She then went to get the manager, who offered an insincere apology and asked if I wanted a refund. I declined. This experience has ensured that I will never eat at Panera Bread again, anywhere. I can't believe this happened to me, and I’m still in disbelief.

I experienced extremely poor customer service at this restaurant. After waiting for 40 minutes, I realized I had been overlooked while people who arrived after me were being served. When I brought this issue to their attention, I was left waiting another 15 minutes for just half of a tuna sandwich. Frustrated, I requested a refund due to the terrible service, which turned out to be a difficult process. I was told to wait for the manager, who only approved half of the refund for my entire order. When I asked for a full refund, they claimed I couldn't get it because I had already taken a smoothie, even though that smoothie was still sitting at the register untouched. It's frustrating to be treated this way and then have to fight to get a full refund. The service was unacceptable, with staff members being rude. After having to wait for the manager again, I finally received my refund, but they offered no compensation for skipping my order or for the long wait and poor customer service. I even saw another customer facing a similar issue. My advice? Find another location. Thank you.
