Avaliação da contribuiçãoI tried this restaurant for the first time recently. My initial visit was unexpected, as I had previously only visited Gardner's Basin in the city. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was just as delicious! The prices were reasonable and seemed to attract local workers, rather than being overpriced like many resort restaurants. The staff was friendly and overall, it was a great dining experience. If you're hungry, I would recommend giving this place a try.
We were in search of breakfast and had heard that Gilchrist was a good option. It was quite an adventure to get there - we took a lift to the 5th floor, crossed a bridge, then took another elevator down to the 4th floor in an old lobby before walking a short distance to the restaurant. It seemed like it may have been part of another hotel before the Tropicana acquired it, as it still had a 1950s vibe. The breakfast was delicious - I had an omelette while my companion had the breakfast special with eggs and pancakes. After our meal, we only had to walk a short distance to the boardwalk. Overall, a great choice for breakfast.
My experience at this restaurant was really bad, starting with the manager. He gave us a small table close to another party and made rude remarks when we asked for a different table. The waitress had a creepy attitude and disappeared after taking our order. Another person's food fell on our table, but we weren't sure if it was ours. When we asked about it, the waitress responded with attitude and dropped the bill on the table before leaving. The food was not good and we waited a long time for someone to return. When we went to pay the bill, we asked for an adjustment for the food that was still on the table. The service was better at McDonald's. I recommend going there instead. I hope the restaurant learns from this experience and improves their service.
I went to this restaurant with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and we had a fantastic time. We decided to share all of the appetizers and each of us ordered a different entree, so it felt like we had ordered everything on the menu. It was a wonderful birthday celebration and we even had leftovers to take home.
Yummy! Whenever I visit Atlantic City, I love having breakfast at this restaurant. They offer a diverse menu ranging from pancakes to French toast, all your breakfast favorites. The service is quick and the food is served hot and tasty. There is typically a wait of 20-40 minutes in the morning, so it's best to come early.
