Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy husband and I went out for date night and we were really excited to try this place. We really loved the vibe and the feel, with the old movie photos and the TVs in the wall. Music was playing and it really gave you a lounge feel, which is what we were looking for. We ordered a martini, which they say they are known for and they didn't have the ingredients to make it. We then ordered a second one from the menu and faced the same. That was pretty disappointing, but our waiter was really great. We ordered the seafood and pasta special which was $50 dollars and we got 2 shrimp and 2 scallops! Seemed a little skimpy to say the least, but it was tasty. Honestly, anywhere you go is going to give you more seafood than that for that price. Glad we tried it, but not sure we will go back.
The place usually provides better food and service. Everything was rushed, like they wanted us to eat quickly and get out. Not the best ambience for a romantic dinner on Valentine's.
We always love coming to Jerry Longo's. Everyone is warm and friendly. We always request Antonio for our server. He is perfect and takes good care of us. Can't wait for our next visit.
Was there on Sunday night, first thing I noticed when we sat at our table there was hardened dry pasta gravy all over the salt shaker, no big deal they gave us another. This is the first time I where I went to an Italian restaurant and there was no bread given to the table, a big no no for me being Italian. The appetizer was four small cheese bread slices with marinara, the sauce was good not so much for the bread sticks. The Longo salad was good and the Caesar salad was real good. My wife had the vodka rigatoni which was good (should have come with at least a small meatball). I ordered the linguiniI alle vongole and it was completely tasteless it was like eating pasta with salt and pepper not even a hint of seafood flavor, I asked my wife to taste it to make sure I wasn't crazy and she didn't taste seafood at all. I thought about sending it back but decided not to. I make this at home and use olive oil, garlic, wine, lemon and oregano, I don't think they use any of those. The tiramisu was very good the cannolis were small and just ok. I Don't know if we would go back.
My most favorite dining place I've dined in and ordered take-out.
