Avaliação da contribuiçãoDo not be swayed by the recent negative reviews, give Sweet Rice a try and judge for yourself! This Thai restaurant in Auburn is top-notch. The Red Curry is bursting with flavor and the spice level is perfect. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate special requests.
We ordered the Broccoli Stir Fry, Pad Sa Eew Noodles with spice level #2, Lao Fresh Rolls with fresh peanut sauce, Pandan Coconut Sweet Rice with Mango, Cashew Chicken with spice level #2, Mekong Beef with spice level #2, and another Broccoli Stir Fry with spice level #2. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The spice level #2 was quite spicy for me, but my partner added even more sriracha Tabasco sauce to their dishes. We were relieved that this place was still open after COVID, as we had been wanting to try it for the past two years.
Our food was mediocre at best. Hardly any meat, I got 1 star and it was a 3+, the rice was dry and overcooked. The spring rolls were perfect. The pad Thai was fine, good amount of shrimp but no onion to be found.
Best pad Thai and fried rice!! I want to try the other food but I always have to get the same thing because its so good
I will never order from this restaurant again, do not waste your money! I ordered the Sweet Rice Mix Plate which comes with a combination of jerky, fried pork riblets, and Lao sausage with a side of sticky rice. The portion size was extremely small. They even gave me a tiny container of dipping sauce that was only half full; I was only able to dip twice, I'm not joking. It's not worth it and the staff are stingy and it is overpriced! The food is not authentic Lao cuisine. I'm sorry but I have had better elsewhere.
