Carving Board Deli - Austin

I agree that it takes a little longer then a fast-food joint, but they do not claim to be one. You can expect the same wait time if you go to a Chili's/Jason's Deli/Etc... The food is far from mediocre. I enjoyed every sandwich I have tried so far. If you want a good homemade style sandwich, give this place a try. If you want cheap food in a hurry, there is a McDonald's about a mile up the road.

This unassuming deli is literally a diamond in the rough. In one word, 'fresh ', is everything I love about the Carving Board. I go as often as I can, but not as often as I would like too!

I enjoyed having lunch at this deli many times and am so sad that they are now closed. They had some really good lunch specials at a reasonable price.
