Maudie's Hill Country - Austin

We used Maudies catering for our wedding and I highly recommend it. They did an amazing work that served all the food warm and even sent home records for my husband and me. Such a great meal and even better staff. The food was also absolutely delicious!

4 star lunch experience. Beef lovers enchiladas were spectacular. Tones of taste they have even added grilled jalapeños when I asked to make it spicy. Tons of taste with the Chipotle sauce. Just reason? 4 stars for me is because the Salsa is Bland and tastes like sweet tomatoes. The Queso tastes like he came from a donor on 7/11.

I don't understand the hype. Salsa was good, but then went downhill. Chicken fajita tacos were cold, soggy, and very disappointing. Was not even Fajita chicken, but seasoned cooked chicken with a few sauteed onions and peppers. Black beans were like guacamole. Service was good, but bad food wasn't. Try it again, but only a disappointment like the last time. Probably not back. Still as hungry as I was when I came here...

Good food. The toilet area for gentlemen in the relaxation room seemed to have needed a light barrier, and I spoke to the staff manager and he said he had seen it. The waiter had to be asked for some articles, and he brought some articles, but if he was asked? Salt Pepper, it was never brought out. Except for some small problems. The rest of the time was the waiter attentive.

I went in May 2022... I hardly ever leave reviews for restaurants, but this is easily the worst Tex-Mex food I've ever had. And I've had a lot. Honestly their food and drinks seem on par with a high school cafeteria. Do not go to this restaurant until ownership changes. I wanted to leave as soon as I tasted the guacamole. I should have left.
