Avoca Indian Avoca Beach

If you are looking for authentic indian taste this is not the right place. Although service was good.

Food was prompt, hot and reasonably priced. Service was fantastic. The restaurant is a nice size and quite well furnished. Unfortunately the quality of the food was not great. We ordered Onion Bhaji, Chicken Korma and Prawn Goa. The three dishes were quite bland and the prawns were not fresh which was sad given the beach over the road. The naans were also quite disappointing unlikely they were from a tandoor oven. There was far too much cheese and it was quite a bland cheese too. This place has lots of potential, but needs to look at updating the recipes and using fresh produce. Maybe offer less choices on the menu (which is quite extensive) in favor of freshness. Quality over quantity would be a good mantra. Overall we had an okay experience.

Have been to many and this is a great little Indian Restaurant! food was great! tandoori lamb cutlets were magnificent! as was the butter chicken and beef RJ ! the spinach naan is a must try. it was the best eat out experience we had over 4 nights at Avoca. owners staff were there to please.

Our favorite Indian restaurant on the coast. The food is delicious, and the delivery is quick and friendly too.
