Zur Alten Lorze - Baar

A nice restaurant on the outskirts of the city. Despite being next to a road, there's barely any noise from it. There's a lot of nature around the restaurant. It serves mostly traditional Swiss dishes.

Great friendly service. Cordon bleu as their specialty, smaller piece of meet stuffed with cheese. Heavy/rich food. Traditional setting.

This is a cute neighborhood restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner. It's on a network of nice walking paths, so I like to combine a visit with a walk. Service can be a bit slow for lunch, so I recommend going when you have a relaxed day. I have been here maybe 10 times and never had a bad dish. Everything always tastes freshly made, although rarely did I have something special. The service is Swiss countryside friendly, which I like. I'll keep coming here.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich empfehlen! Die Tische im Lokal waren hervorragend sauber und die Sessel waren äußerst bequem. Hier bekommt man auch freundliche und flinke Kellner. Was mich betrifft, mein Partner und ich haben bereits das gesamte Menü rauf und runter bestellt. Das Essen wurde besonders prompt serviert.

Obwohl wir für 6 Personen zum Mittagessen reserviert hatten, waren 2 von 4 Menüs nicht mehr verfügbar! Die Papiertischsets sind billig und die Papierservietten reißen, wenn man sie ansieht. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich.
