From burgers, subs, and pizzas. You name it. Best in the US!
I have travelled to Italy, New York Chicago just to eat pizza. I worked at Pagliacci’s in Seattle throughout college. Nothing from those places has ever made me as happy as Baba’s Pizza did last night. Now granted I was sleep deprived, sun-burned, and mosquito-ravaged after a hard day’s labor, but everything was delicious and filling. We had the honey sausage pizza (melt in your mouth sweet symphony) and the king combo (would have been better if they hadn’t run out of jalapeños piña). A jumbo sized pizza lives up to the name at around 18 inches. The crust is New York style, but the rim is fatter and doughy. It tasted like a perfect synthesis of homemade old world baking, Italian inspired pizza, and Yupik ingenuity. An absolute pleasure. Prices are crazy high, but get used to it you are in Bethel. I didn’t regret a penny. 5 hungry men were all full and happy for about $15 each which is actually a good deal around here if you think about it. Quyana dailuchi, bon apetite!
Not a bad place to eat. Their pizza is actually the best in Bethel, and most likely all of Alaska, or anywhere. Baba's is great. You have to try their pizza when I'm Bethel. I do agree with the 4.6 rating. But, you don't give that option, so I'm upgrading to the 5- stars. Yummy as ever Baba's.
Not bad, but not a lot of options either. The dining space is small. Pizza by the slice available but not sure how long it's been sitting there. Go with fresh made.
