The Jolly Miller Cafe - Bacchus Marsh

Have eaten here many times both in the store delivery. A little on the expensive side, but always delicious fresh food with an excellent selection of options available!

A very varied vegan menu as well as vegan items in the main menu. All day breakfast vegetarian includes cauliflowers, carrots and asparagus as well as the usual tomatoes and mushrooms. The vegan Brekkie had vegan 'Bacon' and sausage, and less veg.

My vego partner popped in here to pick up a takeaway tart. I didn’t even bother looking in the sweet cabinet at first because I was sure they wouldn’t have anything vegan...but I was wrong! They had 4 different vegan and gluten free cakes and a jar of cookies on the counter. I chose a pistachio and orange cake that was delicious and moist with a nut-mealy texture. I was surprised to see they also have a vegan section on their menu with lunch and brunch options I’d go back for if I was in the area. They seem to be a small chain with a number or suburban and rural branches. Updated from previous review on 2021-06-12

It was a little expensive, but the food was good quality with large portions.

It is nice to visit a café with a vegan menu that is not just a salad. In addition to 8 vegan dishes, there is a hot chocolate, smoothies and a biscoff milkshake. I ordered the cauliflower steak with mushrooms. It looked nice and the cauliflower was well cooked, but it tasted like the vegetables in the offer. My partner had the green frit and I thought they were tastier. The coffee was nice. Many tables inside.
