The starter plate with fish variations was great, especially the roasted black bread, which was there. The cattle steak main dish (Herrensteak) was roasted to the point and also the liver cheese Burger was very delicious. Top! Did not drink wine, but the selection and expertise seem to be very good. The waiting period was perhaps a little long until the appetizer served 45 minutes, but the waiting was definitely worth it! We look forward to the next visit.
The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the maps are great compiled with creative dishes. Also the service was nice and friendly. It is not enough for 5 stars. We stayed in a small group (6 people) there and the waiting period for food and drinks was very long, and the food was distributed in several stages over about 20 minutes. Included: Definitely a recommendation, but perhaps not full on a Saturday night.
After we had heard a lot of good from the restaurant, we took our first wedding day to dinner there. Luckily we got another table. The restaurant was really well visited. All employees were very friendly and very attentive. The food was super delicious and the portions were very suitable for us. Actually, I always thought I didn't like peachlings. Well, they've been so good for Steak We'll be back!
We are going to the Karl May Festivals in Bad Segeberg every year and decided this time to visit another restaurant than usual before the performance. On the Internet I came across this very top rated restaurant. Reserved us a table by phone. We were not disappointed. The restaurant has 7 tables inside plus 2 in the outdoor area and probably a separate room for celebrations. The service was courteous and friendly. The ambience fits (see photos). You should be pre-ordered, then everything was occupied with us. The menu is clear, the dishes are always changing. At least I had the FR Special Schnitzel, baked with tomato and sauce Hollandaise. There were Western potatoes and mixed salads. The carving was served on a hot pan, the rest stood there separately. It was tasteful and also visually a pleasure. The price of around 19 € was absolutely ok. My wife had a beef fillet, which was also top. The path to Kalkberg is short, about 10 minutes walk. So, who wants to eat really well and also taste a good wine, it's right here. We like to come back, 5 stars plus.
A great restaurant with excellent food, an incredibly attentive service and a really beautiful ambience. We were there with eight people including two children and all were equally enthusiastic. What was first a coincidence hit has become an absolute lucky handle with a very convincing price performance ratio. Sixteen thumbs up to the next time!
