Maya's Pizza - Baia de Fier

After two days of motorcycle riding and surviving on canned food, this restaurant was a much-needed and pleasant surprise. The pizza dough was excellent, possibly made with sourdough. While the pizza toppings were good, they weren't exceptional. The burger could have been improved by using less mayo. They offer a vegan burger for 25 lei, a vegan pizza for 24 lei (32cm) or 35 lei (40cm), focaccia with olive oil and oregano for 10lei, French fries for 5lei, and sea buckthorn cold-pressed juice for 6lei per glass. While the pizza was good, it wasn't outstanding. The burger would have been much better with less mayo, in my opinion. The prices were reasonable, with the Vegan Burger priced at 25lei, the Vegan Pizza at 24lei for the 32cm size and 35lei for the 40cm size, Focaccia with olive oil and oregano priced at 10lei, French fries at 5lei, and Sea buckthorn cold pressed juice at 6lei per glass.
