Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is one of the first restaurants one encounters when coming off the train to Charlevoix. The food is pretty good. The server pretended she didn't speak English in order to rush the order. Understandably they were busy as they take in tour busses, but our table included seniors who sometimes have questions or need a little extra time. I found her manner quite rude as it was evident afterwards that she was fluent in English. This is a stark contrast to the service we received in Quebec city where people go out of their way to help you. The vegetable soup was not good . it comes with a lunch meal and tastes like broccoli with chicken stock. The fondue starter was good. The fried cod was good and same with the tuna salad. The mixed salad is fair. I would not rush back but continue on to the main street and look at other restaurants.
This is a very good restaurant in Baie Ste Paul. I ordered the fish and chips, and enjoyed them! As I travel solo most of the time, I am always interested in the attention (or lack of it) that is given to "us folks". We may be solo, but we do enjoy interaction.
WE stayed in Baie St. Paul for one night and this was our choice for dinner on our night there. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the service was good. It was a quiet, relaxed place to be after a busy day of travelling...we will be back.
We had dinner here and enjoyed it very much. Passing motorcycles were a bit loud but otherwise the ambiance on the terrace was pleasant. The food was excellent and well priced.
Dinner was very pleasant with the wait staff very helpful with our questions in English. (Even questions about a strange bird we had seen on the ski trail!) The atmosphere was pleasant, cost comparative to food produced and service excellent.
