Jax Bakery Cafe - Bairnsdale

The coffee at this restaurant is excellent, and the pies and sausage rolls are delicious with a good selection. I haven't had the chance to try the bread, rolls, wraps, slices, cakes, etc yet, but they all look quite appealing. The staff is consistently wonderful, being attentive and friendly. If you happen to be in Eastwood, it's definitely worth stopping by.

I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to write this review. We visited this restaurant in early March and despite it being a bit busy, the service was top-notch. The cooked breakfast we ordered was of excellent quality and portion size, with plenty of toast and delicious coffee. Overall, we couldn't find any faults in our experience.

We bought pies for lunch and they were terrible. They were burnt on top and not hot at all. The prices were ok but I wouldn’t go back again. The place was clean and the staff were helpful but I wouldn’t recommend the pies.

The food was mediocre and the service was average. We ordered some vanilla slices and French vanilla, but the person taking our order got distracted by another staff member instead of promptly getting our food.

I called in to this bakery thinking it would be nice, I had to send our two pies back as they were Luke warm at best, this is unhygienic, they microwaved them and they came back just Luke warm, my chocolate milk shake was not cold and was served in a glass. , My partner had an iced coffee that was quite nice.
