El Pollo Loco - Bakersfield

El Pollo Loco is my absolute favorite, but I have enough of this special place and therefore I give 3 stars. This is the third time in a row that I order several Pollo Bowls and they give me dark meat or boned shredded chicken from the previous day. When I order a pollo bowl, I expect to see freshly diceed chicken breast. Very disappointed, least to say, even in taste. I can taste the difference in the dark chicken and it is definitely not what I am looking forward to. I removed the so-called chopped chicken breast from my bowl and replaced it with a chicken breast I had ordered. I was frustrated at this point and didn't want to go back to the store for them just saying that they were run out of chopped chicken breast as they told me before. I gave them several chances, but enough is enough. I made pictures so you can see what I mean, breast meat is not brown. You can judge yourself. This place must be better.

The portion of chicken is incredibly small and may not be satisfying for a hungry individual. Be prepared for an unexpected surprise.

I ordered Chicken Avocado Burrito and the Burrito had NO CHICKEN! and NO AVOCADO! in it. I was very hungry this day, very disappointed Please don't waste your money at El Pollo Loco

Went through the drive thru today and ordered 2 combo meals?the guy taking the order was friendly and helpful?the food was amazing?.everything today from start to finish as well as the food itself was on point.
