Barley's Backyard - Baltimore

I feel as if this place is strongly racist towards black individuals. They told me I needed to purchase a ticket but then seconds later let a group of Caucasian females enter without purchasing tickets. It’s very sad to me that a place in Baltimore can be this racist : I hope this changes.

Bad leadership during weekends, Friday night specifically. Half of the bar is private yet no one is preventing customers from entering. The male manager tells you to order from one side but never mentions you can't take the drinks to the other side. If a group reserves half of the club, stand by it. At the same time, a woman is standing ON the bar pouring shots and the manager is drinking with her so why is asking to purchase a drink the one thing not allowed?Two different songs were playing at the same time with one flimsy rope separating the two. A person from our party was able to order a drink and remain on the side of the reserved party. All we were asking was to be consistent. This place couldn't even do that. Shout out to the bouncer who had the most common sense of the group.

Food was amazing! I had the watermelon salad, 13$ added the blackened chicken 6$ more dollars! The GM waited on us! Love seeing a manager on the floor, engaging the patrons.Drinks are strong! We had an excellent time...second time there!Will be back for a 3rd! John

They food was ok the service was terrible but I had an amazing time with my boyfriend! Drinks where good but service really needs to improve. Waited about 30 minutes until a server took our order waited another 25 for the food messed up my boyfriend's order said they would bring him a burger that he order instead a hour in a half later no burger was given but server was Continuing towork passes with other orders from other tables we reminded her again she sure that she will bring in another hour goes by No burger. The inside was very fun to be around the people also fun to be around. The bathrooms were very small no doors were able to lock both soap dispensers were broken it was very very crowded but overall had a goodtime

I travelled from southern VA to go to a baseball game at Camden Yards, Barleys was a recommendation from a friend who lives in the area and I'm sooooo thankful we stopped in. Brandon was great with answering all menu questions and made beautiful and delicious drinks! I'm excited to go back for a visit soon! THANK YOU BRANDON! The restaurant, bar, and restrooms were clean, and music was great and the environment was so fun!
