Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe had a delicious dinner before we went to the lyric. crispy brussels sprouts, buffalo mozzarella, two pastas and dessert! the prices are reasonable, homemade pasta is a standpoint, and our server was excellent! it was always a little cool in it. old building and concrete floors. I would not allow someone from there to eat because eating delicious and the service friendly and attentive, but remember to bring a pullover. will be back in a few Saturdays with my daughter to everyman.
Forno never disappoints. Everything is consistently EXCELLENT!!!
The service is always top notch. This visit we were a bit disappointed in the food. The 2 guests who ordered the duck ravioli did not feel it lived up to its price, they didn't get a good duck taste. And we ordered the key lime pie for dessert and it came out in a frying pan where the crust was overcooked, almost burnt, sticking to the pan. While the concept was interesting it didn't work. The server did take it off our bill. The 2 chicken dishes, especially the caccitorie one guest ordered were tasty.
Very good food, drinks, service. Perfect for before a show.
It 's very clear that Forno is the the only 'nice ' sit down restaurant super close to the Hippodrome, so it 's convenient and I imagine this demand healthily sustains them. That said, it was an underwhelming experience. We only tried the hummus and two pizzas, and while they were okay, it wasn 't the best pizza we 've ever had and was also closer to room temperature than hot. Drinks took a very long time to come out, and the bread that comes to the table was a little stale. We did enjoy half priced bottles on a Saturday night, but the server who brought the bottle over clearly didn 't know how to open the bottle of Prosecco she stuck a corkscrew into the the cork! She also gave us red wine glasses to drink Prosecco instead of flutes. Not really an issue, but staff seems a little unexperienced. Overall it 's a fine place to come if you 're seeing a show at the Hippodrome, but I wouldn 't seek it out by itself. Heads up, at least based on our experience, you 'll want a reservation if you 're visiting before a show.
