Very welcoming family restaurant. short map synonymous with freshness and typical very reasonable at the price level, we will return in summer to enjoy the terrace!

The rooms are clean, modern and functional. The bedding was good. Cotized kitchen, breakfast was honest. On the other hand, we were disappointed by the evening meals (small variety and not really in our tastes) the welcome and all the staff arrive the setting is welcoming and there is a little prep to play the children. Baigorry st etienne is 10 min car for 2 gourmet bags (boutique, resto.)

This restaurant is in a perfect setting with friendly and helpful staff. For Sunday lunch it was perfect and busy with locals. Menu choices typical good basque country cuisine. The nearby church in St Etienne was magical too with beautiful basque chants and well supported!

I would strongly recommend this warm, friendly hotel which is in a lovely quiet setting outside the village. The lady who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for several nights during a walking holiday in September and loved this hotel. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. The food, especially dinner is very enjoyable. There is a pleasant outside dinning area when the weather is warm. The food is simple but cooked to a high standard. I can recommend the Magret de Canard. Also there was a rarity these days: real old fashioned French potage.

Excellent quality Basque Country cuisine: sumptuous and hearty food. Set menu prices offer great value. Friendly, small restaurant full on day of visit with groups, families, couples, locals. A great find, but visit hungry!
