Lord Bennett's Restaurant - Bandon

One of my favorite restaurants in Bandon. We have visited this place every time we come to town. Excellent food and a wonderful location. Highly recommend the halibut and the crab leg pasta.

What a great find.. excellent location off of Hwy 101 in Bandon. The views of Face rock, directly across the street are amazing . The service was attentive, but not intrusive and met any expectation one would have. But the best part of this review is the food ... Our dinners were outstanding Let me start with the portion size, very generous . The veggies were my favorite part , an excellent variety of snap peas, red bells, sweet onions, asparagus , broccoli , and butternut squash . All cooked to perfection and seasoned to enjoy. I ordered the Halibut cheeks b/c I love that fish and never pass up the opportunity to try a new version . It was cooked to perfection.. my only wish here would be to have it served with a fresh mango salsa rather than do much butter but it was delicious and I ate every bite including the wild rice that was a perfect accompaniment . Highly recommend this choice for seafood lovers . My partner had the lamb chops and that is another recommendation . The huckleberry sauce was excellent. My only suggestion , be specific on how you want the meat cooked . We ordered medium expecting a pink middle and it was pretty close to done. But they had excellent flavor and we would order again.. In addition to a great menu, their dessert offerings were so enticing we tried the Silky Swedish cream ... compare this to. Chilled cream brûlée without the hard sugar crust ... so yummy. Overall I highly recommend this as your dinner choice , it will not disappoint . While we were dining I noted many were locals who frequent this establishment often, another sign to support just how good this place really is .

Rude hospitality hostess over looked us for other couples then sent us away. I'd u want to be treated poorly this Is ur place

Note: the restaurant is on the second floor. Wonderful service provided by Tia, attentive, not intrusive. Very comfortable environment with wonderful views of the face rock area. Relaxing, a touch of elegance without going over the top. Lemon Drops were very good. Oysters were still attached, fresh, tender, and yummy. prawn cocktail had nice sized prawns that were cooked perfect. clam chowder was light and silky, excellent flavor. Lamb chops cooked exactly like i wanted, the huckleberry sauce was rich and fruity. Those roasted veggies were some of the best i have had, period. The Halibut Cheeks were delicately prepared, and the rice blended expertly with the fish and veggies. i wanted at least two more of the flan.

My favorite restaurant in Bandon. Food quality is excellent and staff is well trained and professional. Restaurant is situated so nearly all tables have ocean view. If you can score a table at sunset, it makes for an unforgettable occasion.
