Kirra Beach Hotel - Banora Point

Security guard “Bambi” needs to learn some customers service/manors. We went in to buy a carton of beer. We entered through the bottle shop and went to the cool room. We ask him how much it was for a carton and he replied that we weren’t allowed in there. There was no sign on the door. We asked why that was and he replied saying “cause you’re f**king not” which was disgusting. As someone that works in the industry, I’m appalled. The young girl at the counter was lovely, and she replied saying “don’t worry about Bambi” implying that it happens often. As a local, I am very disappointed in this behaviour as it paints a poor image for our area.

When your in town at Kirra head down to the hotel for a feed. Tuesday night was $15 surf n turf and was cooked great. We added 12 chicken wings with blue sauce and 10 calamari which was tender. 2 surf n turfs 12 wings and 10 calamari with an extra garlic sauce $50. Great value and they have a kids room.

Foreign woman served me with her dirty dreads swinging all over the utensils, she spoke with the worst attitude and had a tone back when I had to ask to repeat what she had said because I couldn’t hear her talk. She was staring and talking at our family as if we were all dumb. Didn’t even give us time to look at menu before she Rudely interrupted and said have you figured it out yet. $15 for a piece of **** burnt steak and the “women” behind the bar have nothing better to do than to stand there and stare you down while you try and Order. Will never be coming back here and we are **** locals! Disgusting Kirra hotel!!

This place sells great pub food at a good price. The specials are the go and very good value for money. Be quick because the specials do sell out quickly. Drinks are cheaper than Twin Towns by far so for family value go here, it’s kid friendly and not a trashy place at all. The atmosphere is of course pubbie but for a couple of drinks and a good meal go here. Parking can be problematic on the weekends but available if you drive around.

Went to this hotel twice while we were on holidays for meals. The food is fine but the attitude of the staff is nothing less than disgraceful. Don’t sit out on the front section before closing time because they come along and stack chairs, drag them along the concrete and generally disrupt your whole dining experience. Would have been less noisy at a daycare centre!!! Take note management: these ladies are destroying what could be a lovely experience. We won’t be going back.
