Cafe This Way - Bar Harbor

Great much needed breakfast before heading into Acadia for the day! Very convenient location tucked away near the Village Green where we awaited pickup for the Island Explorer for transportation into the park. Staff was very friendly, service was fast, and the breakfast/coffee hit the spot while enjoying some fresh air in their relaxed outdoor dining area.

Great place, large indoor and outdoor seating space. Nice staff, went on Saturday morning, got a place in 5 minutes though it was busy. Ordered the Usual, omelette, bread with a side of blueberries, it was great.

Second visit for breakfast while vacationing in Acadia. Last time was ten years earlier. My wife remembered this place because it was very good. They do pancakes VERY well. Try the wild maine blueberry pancakes and you will not be disappointed. The breakfast burrito was excellent. Kids loved the chocolate chip and plain pancakes. Clean, bright, large and well ventilated. Friendly and competent staff. Well worth the visit.

Staff was very nice and the amount of outdoor seating availability is great. I?m happy that they have a vegan option for breakfast but was a little underwhelmed with my food experience. Two of us went for breakfast and ordered the same thing, ?The Vegan?. The food came out remarkably fast, like less than ten minutes. We ordered the same thing but the portion sizes were very different by like 30%, the food on one plate was nearly too hot to eat while the other was just warm, both were on the soggy side. The flavor was good. I?ve been to Cafe This Way before and had many wonderful experiences, and will return again. This was my first less than wonderful experience and first time for breakfast. I?ll try it again and hope to have a better experience.

Enjoyed this!!!! You absolutely have to try the blueberry pancakes, and breakfast places should serve real maple syrup this way like Italian places serve olive oil! Perfect way to serve it! The potatoes, while good, were not as fantastic as the rest of the food.
