Avaliação da contribuiçãoChicken was OK, not the best burger if comparing to other fried chicken (Marys or Thirsty bird). Was expecting better quality for the area and price. Probably wouldnt go back for the food but the atmosphere is nice.
Had heard good things about Belles during the day and found one near our hotel. Simple menu, fast and friendly service, nothing fancy, but very tasty fried chicken, in a casual setting overlooking the harbour. Pretty good value for money, looking forward to going back to try some of the different offerings. Overall, very happy.
Mum and I went here for an early dinner. I love fried chicken!! We got there as it started to rain so that reduced the seating availability. It was 6:30/7:00 on a Friday night. We managed to squeeze on to a communal table but then got to grab another 5 minutes later. Choice of beers isn't the greatest imo, the food however is great! Great price for what you get - so that can't be bad. Take away available too.Try this place for fried chicken and spicy hot fried chicken at that!!
2 stars only for the service tonight, not the food. The manager tonight (been told her name was Jamie) had a bit of an attitude problem. The beers we first ordered tasted quite bland to our liking so we let the waitress know and ordered another brand of beer. Then the manager comes to the table with an aggressive stance with the two glasses of beer the waitress took back. She banged the glasses on the table and asked what was wrong with them, that they tasted fine to her. I believe that was absolutely unnecessary and simply rude. We didn't like what we had in the first place and ordered something else. We didn't ask for free beers. Although we enjoyed the food that came later, that little episode almost ruined our evening. Having been myself in the industry for close to a decade, I know she didn't really have to put on that muscle flexing show especially when in the end she didn't even end up charging me for those two bland beers. That kind of impulsive and unprofessional attitude from a restaurant staff is what drives customers away.
My husband and I tried Barangaroo a couple of months ago - it was 'ok', so we tried the tramsheds location last weekend.Again the food was hmm ok.. actually I would call it poor. It is hugely over priced for what it is. We shared the peach glazed ribs and ordered tenders each, 2 soft drinks and some sauce =$67. For a chicken shop, that is expensive! You are better off going to a burger place. The peach glazed ribs are definitely the nicest menu item! The chicken seasoning was exactly the same from medium to hot. Medium was described as very subtle spice that you can barely taste.... wrong! We love our spice and even my husband found the medium too hot. The 'hot' was exactly the same level of spice...My side choice was Mac n Cheese. It was very stodgy with little taste. Something so simple can be done so wrong. Mac N Cheese!! The best thing about the tramsheds location was the service, the staff were fantastic! Really attentive and customer service was excellent especially considering it is a casual chicken shop! However sadly we won't be going back anymore. We have tried the two locations, same menu, same quality, same price. Not worth it. Many better chicken places to go like Chicken Institute!
