Red Fish - Barcelona

Red Fish is on the beach and it took us a while to find it. It's a beautiful light space and I'm sure sitting on the terrasse in summer would be nice. There was plenty of space for the children to run around outside and through the big windows, we could see what they were up to. The black rice dish with prawns and calamari was quite salty, but this was the first time we have ever had it. The Crema Catalana was delicous. All the food was good, but seemed pricy for what it was. We spent a long time there, and it was nice not to be rushed out of the door.

A nice restaurant on the harbor. Unfortunately, it did not have a view of the harbor from the restaurant. The service was very good, and the food was fine.

Red Fish is literally steps from the beach and the location and name suggest, seafood is featured. We tried mussels and octopus along with appetizers and both entrees were superb. Coming from Seattle we are used to mussels on the menu and this dish ranks with the best we've had. The wine we ordered was out of stock but the waiter suggested an awesome substitute that was actually a few Euros cheaper. Definitely worth a visit

On March 4th we celebrate our Fish Barcelona network wedding and we can only have words of thanks for the entire team. I want the minute 0, iciar helped us move the idea we wanted from an informal wedding to be a reality and that all our guests would have a good time and would feel comfortable. The food has been fine, but they've been late enough to bring it. the place is amazing but the service very bad. slow and uncoordinated. expensive in relation to the service.
