Avaliação da contribuiçãoBoth my wife and I enjoy a good Veal Sandwich. Since our move to the Barrie area it has been one of the favorite dishes/meals/sandwiches we felt void in the area. Not Any More!If you have not tried San Francesco's veal sandwich you may be missing one of, I feel the better ones out there. I have had their veal on a bun from the Toronto / Mississauga locations for 40 years and what a treat for me, and now you too.A great find in Barrie.Going to the cottage ... get off the 400 at Duckworth (north end of Barrie just before 400-11 split) turn right on Duckworth off ramp and go a couple short blocks to Grove ... You will not regret it. Far more than just veal to appeal ... Enjoy!
After reading reviews and receiving flyers about this place i thought i would try it out. I ordered the veal sandwich and i was told that it only cones with sauce ( i have eaten veal sandwiches in many places and a lot if ingredients are included such as peppers, onions, etc...). I noticed that every ingredient was extra cost so i ordered onions (.49) and i wanted just a bit of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and the wanted to charge me almost $1.00 that is ridiculous. The neat on the sandwich wax paper thin. I was not impressed and will Never go back.
Travelling from Sudbury and stopped for lunch with my mother and brother. Service was good. My brother had the panzerotti and his wrapper and inside the pocket of his panzerotti had soo much grease in it He told them and they made him a new one but then they could have cooked it a few minutes longer. It was still doughy on the inside. Never had a panzerotti done in a deep fryer before. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and the chicken didn't have any flavor and overcooked. They were not busy, there was one lady ahead of us and then 2 guys came in after we got our food. My mother didn't care for the tomato sauce they put on her steak sandwich. I don't know if it was new staff or not but definitely choose Subway next time. At least you know what you are getting.
This is the best place for veal and sweet pepper sandwiches! After being a fan of the original Toronto location, I was happy to discover this one closer to home! The veal sandwich is my favourite, all though there are many other options from lasagna to panzarotti. They serve Stella Artois on draft, and popular drinks like Coke and Canada Dry Ginger Ale in old fashioned bottles...Nice!They have a fresh gelato freezer to enjoy a special dessert after your meal...if you have room for it!I will be a regular customer for a good many reasons, one being that the staff are wonderful and friendly. Highly recommended!
I have visited this restaurant multiple times and each time it was quite busy. The sandwiches are consistently amazing. The staff puts in the time and effort to make them perfect, and the sauce is excellent.
