Avaliação da contribuiçãoI was in town for business and decided to order take out for the night. The Wok Inn was close by so I stopped in and ordered Dinner for One B (Chicken Soo Guy) The person who took my order, who was also the cook, was not very friendly and seemed to be in a rush the whole time. As I was waiting for my food, another staff member came through the front door with groceries and nearly knocked me over. I had asked for a fork/knife/ or chopsticks with my order and they were not in the bag when I got back to my room. The food itself was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. It was bland, without salt (which is usually the opposite for Chinese food). There was so much grease it made me feel sick. Everything tasted like cardboard and was smothered in a greasy sauce. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely never be back.
Upon entering the wok inn we noticed how filthy dirty the desk area was the walls floors ceiling fixtures windows everything was filthy dirty the kitchen was visible from the desk and seemed clean the woman behind the desk was not smiling or very friendly and rushed us to order we order fried rice, lemon chicken, broccoli /beef, and wonton soup $43 of tasteless food the lemon chicken had too much sauce on it and didn't even taste like lemon chicken the broccoli was not fresh either and the rice was also tasteless VERY DISAPPOINTING needless to say this was our first and LAST time we order from the wokinn
I 've been buying takeout here forever, and have raved about the great food here many times..But the last few times have lacked the flavour, and quality of the dish..food has been greasy, tasteless other than the greasy coating aftertaste stuck to the roof of your mouth.dishes seem to lack the ingredients that made them the dish simple veggies like peas, green peppers, and mushrooms don 't exist anymore... What 's Chinese food without water chestnuts?? I called them about it figuring let 's fix this before they go out of business from lack of returning customers and was told it 's a new cook... Definitely not a cook) I had the absolute worst food ever from there tonight.. had to throw it out..I guess all good things do come to a end..time to find a new place in Barrie for my Chinese food fix...anyone have a recommendation they can share?? Thanks
Great place for chinese food. The portions i.e. Cantonese Chow Mein is a meal for 1. But it is a second meal next day. Works out to $7 for a dinner. Now it is a bit on the greasy side for some things, GET OVER IT !!! resaturant
Very scruff place the food was greasy and tasteless It was the first time going there it will be the last. The owner was quite pleasant.
