Crofters - Barrow-in-Furness

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, and the surrounding area was beautiful. The only issues were the square-shaped toilet, misaligned seat, lack of sugar, and a step that was dangerous.

I stayed here for a few nights and visited the restaurant every evening. The pub had a great atmosphere and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious, with large portions that were homemade with care and attention to detail. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the evening here. Definitely worth a visit!

The service at this restaurant was extremely slow! When my daughter's pizza finally arrived, it was clearly a microwaved Chicago Town pizza that was soggy and undercooked. We sent it back and the replacement of kids nuggets and chips was disappointingly small compared to my son's portion, which was still very small overall. My mom and I ordered a chicken and bacon stack meal which was lukewarm, with solidified cheese on top, greasy, rubbery, and chewy chicken. We definitely won't be returning to this restaurant and would not recommend it.

The room is lovely, everything you need, towels could be bigger though. The food is to die for, the salt and pepper chips and the onion rings are so moreish. Our meal was amazing, the portions are huge, we couldn't eat it all. I had the rump steak with pepper sauce and my husband had the chicken stack. The lovely Liam took care of us while we dined. Reasonably priced and brilliant surroundings. Great staff and venue.

We had dinner here this evening and had a great experience. Carrie was lovely and welcoming and genuinely appeared to enjoy taking care of her customers. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. We had starters and mains and there was no way we had room left for afters. All in all a smashing evening.
