Avaliação da contribuiçãoSurrounded by trees, this small restaurant serves delicious local dishes at reasonable prices. Service is good, although high demand at top points could be slow, but not entirely violating my review by a point demotion. I had a chicken soup that was just perfect for a cool night, followed by a house salad that was amazing, and a scavenger that must be one of the best I ever had. Beers were excellent and no room for the desert. The place seems to be loved by locals, and it was packed on a Tuesday evening with people from all ages, including families. Lunch seems to work well. I would go back any time, shame that there are thousands of miles from home...
The cosy restaurant is located in the Deister and offers delicious food. For hikers a 'must' has! In summer, it's best to sit outside.
We wandered in the Deister (small hill south of Hanover and on the way back to Barsinghausen only interested in eating something. At first glance, this restaurant looks like a typical small restaurant in the woods, ready to serve a small selection of basic foods such as sausages or cutlet. The parking lot was wounded because of the weather. The outside menu promised better dishes than originally expected. Also a number of parking cars motivated us (we didn't know the website . We were really surprised. A beautifully decorated conservatory, a fireplace in the main house, friendly staff... and they asked us for a reservation. Luckily they had a place for us and we were really happy with the dinner and the atmosphere (deer goulash, chicken breast with goat cheese, salad decorated with fruit, Italian dessert .
