Sam’s Southern Eatery - Bartlesville

So Bartlesville finally has a restaurant worth it. Full catfish and shrimp po-boy with red beans and rice and Coleslaw. Everything was really good. Not sure what happened in an earlier review of the waiting staff. They seemed nice and were pretty busy. Will go back to try the rubber bears and oysters!

Grilled catfish is very good. The small hot sauce put the gumbo directly on the target. Great portions. Huge menu with many options for everyone.

This place is my man and my absolute favorite place in town! It's time we have a REAL SEAFOOD seat! I grew up right off the southeastern coast of Texas and had seafood for 22 years with a family of shrimps before I moved to Bartlesville and kindness, I missed it! I had tried seafood in other places, but no one in Oklahoma even had an indication of what truly authentic seafood suspects how much less prepared to taste! Many people born and raised in Oklahoma even saw the sea that was surprising! Then this place moved into town and I was like wow! That's amazing! My favourite is the grilled catfish and shrimp! Your hush puppies are amazing, very like those I had raised. The only thing is that their grilled oysters have to cook longer, but that's it. On a note to support this company, I think people must give them a chance to grow. I personally believe the reason why they don't have garbage buckets everywhere is because the waiters here are supposed to clean the tables for you to be nice and show hospitality to their customers. They seem to be underused, but is absolutely normal for a start-up business. They are underused because they are launched a new place with most likely very little money. Every businessman would fully understand this if they were to increase a business from scratch on with small funds. We must realize this and support new business like this as a community! This was once someone's life dream to have a business like this and most likely have taken their lives to dream it to work to him and then establish it as a reality. And what a beautiful reality is to see someone who happens something wonderful in their lives and in the Forciur community! The building is dated, but they are blessed to have a building at all, God has provided for it! the cabins can be unpleasant for a commentary complaint, but at least they have a place to sit their customers. Isn't that nice? Sitting in a cool, air-conditioned place from the hot summers? You can have a few employees instead of a whole bunch of people, but they learn and are competent in which they stand as the beginning. Stop complaining and start to be grateful and show some good ole southern hospitality to our southern seafood essery! These guys deserve tips. They help us greedy Americans enjoy the little things that are important. Remember! God certainly blessed her! Sam's southern food, you're really loved!!!! Keep the great work and let no one discourage you or crush your dreams!!!!!!!!!

That was my second visit. It was cleaner than the first visit. They were employed SUPER and while it is obvious, they have some kinks still the staff was very polite, hard working and dealing with a standing room only quite well. Last but not least, the food was OUTSTANDING.

This is great food hands down! And the portion size is more than enough! Will definitely be back.
