Mike's Grill - Bartow

Mike our waiter was amazing and did a great job. Food was awesome and had good sized portions of food. We will be coming back here for sure. 5 stars all the way

So much food be ready to eat AND leave with a smile cause they have great service. Mike was our server and he was awesome. One of the best servers I've had, he was attentive, seemed like he cared and gave us great suggestions and was a genuine good guy. The food was AWESOME we got Fried mushrooms, half fried bird, country fried chicken, and sweet teas. It's big portions and a great value for the portion size. I normally take pictures of the food but we were so hungry and it was so dang good, I didn't want to post empty plates!

I visited this restaurant for the first time for lunch and ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes, which came with a salad and soup. The food was excellent—I really enjoyed the salad and the real mashed potatoes. The steak was great as well. My only issue was that my server didn’t clear any dishes during the meal. Although she did check in to ensure everything was alright, I have certain expectations after being in the restaurant business for over 60 years. Nonetheless, I still left an $8 tip on a $17 bill.

Fantastic restaurant! This is our second visit in just a week. If you're driving, I highly recommend coming here. If you're hungry, that's on you! The staff is incredibly friendly. The first photo shows the beginning of our meal, and the second one showcases the entree.
