Southern Sweets Ice Cream Parlor Sandwich Shop

I write my review when I sit here to finish my milkshake. First, the staff was great. I didn't ask for any blows on my shake and double checked them to be safe. My sandwich was delicious the southern flair. Excellent pimiento cheese. The milkshake is so good, her ice cream is obviously top notch.

5 stars for trouble! They were one of a few restaurants on Bay Street that were open on the commemorative day and they felt the pressure. But the staff kept all their cool and worked extra hard and were still very polite and friendly for all their males. We have the hot dog of the Southern Nights and the chili dog of the Big Chill. Both were very good. The dogs themselves were very good with a beautiful “snap”. And for dessert we had a delicious chocolate malt.

Some of the best gumbo that I have had. I heard at least a couple other people in the restaurant complimenting the gumbo. Indeed awesome! Enjoyed the ice cream also! Friendly service too.

Went here twice in one day. Great looking place with good lunch and ice cream. I had the fried bologna sandwich. It was great. Fried bologna is something I only crave about once a year or less, but they hooked me with the sign outside and reeled me in. Nice decor , very clean with friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Wonderful service and even better ice cream. We had the Hunting Island Turtle Attack and it was great! If you have never had a butter pecan sundae, give it a try!
