Avaliação da contribuiçãoVery cute shop with a very nicely curated high tea service. The cucumber and the turkey apricot sandwiches were excellent. We had a great conversation with the owner as well who was incredibly gracious!
Le Pigeon prices, McDonald 's food and service. Not sure if we got a bad day or what, but for $50+ per person, (x three of us) we were pretty disappointed. Took over 90 minutes to get three store bought scones and chocolates/macarons, and a few sandwiches slapped together on Wonder bread even though they kept insisting it was coming out any minute .My 5 year old was hungry so we told the owner (Ann Johnson) we would be leaving and kindly asked her to process a refund. Ann refused and also wouldn 't amend my prepaid tip amount. The waiter told us afterward that Ann forgot a bunch of food and was running late, had to go to the grocery store and get food, and that 's why it took so long. But no apology, nothing, and still wouldn 't amend my tip. Glad I paid $160 for some Safeway scones.Lots of other amazing tea houses around town, I recommend them any day over this place.
The place is so cute and clean! It’s unfortunate that the service and food did not meet expectations especially paying $320 with tip. 6 of us came and paid but she said she only wrote down 5people. We each only got to try one type of tea each because they never came back for us to order more… soup was cold, fruit was OLD, and when we got dessert only 2/6 of us got custard, the other 4 got whip cream disguised at custard. They were super nice!! I’m writing this review for them to succeed and do better!
My husband made a reservation for mine and our girlfriend's birthdays. It was amazing. We got the full tea service, with sandwiches, and cakes. I got the earl and lady grey tea. It was so good and florally. SO got the Caribbean Fruit tea, it tasted like fruit punch. So yummy! GF got butterfly pea, it was bright blue and tasted like sweet potatoes. They accommodated for allergies and everything. I would highly highly recommend everything here.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They were more than happy to accommodate.
Chiming back in 7 months after my girlfriend stopped working at 1 of these locations and this store owner still has yet to pay her. we currently have an open case with the board of labor and are looking forward to our justice. It appears her business is unoperable right now and rightfully so. If you could avoid to give this woman money, you should avoid her business at all costs she doesn 't deserve your business. My lady has first hand knowledge of this business owner not buying supplies for her stores and instead passing off cheap products from local grocery markets or convenient stores as premium items and even bribes customers for 5 star reviews with a free chocolate. edit : I 'm 30 years old. How old are we? Why is this happening? This is why we can 't have nice things and amenities often cater to the lowest adaptive mind. Why am I chasing a grown woman for some hundreds, not even 1 thousand, dollars? I 'd swear I 've past, only to reincarnate as myself back in high school once more making poor choices like loaning a friend or girlfriend money the way this debt still lingers in our lives months and months later. An increase in reviews from other scorned employees during that same window is both validating and concerning to say the least. This isn 't the first time this business owner has operated with an expired license been temporarily shut down. They have a repeated pattern of very poor business ethics and it is quite concerning for both the individual the community, again to say the least. Any student of the University of Oregon, here homegrown, that has completed the Business 101 course with a passing grade could tell you from just a glance that this business owner 's transgressions have been ethically egregious. Each year a minimum of 18.5% of students enrolled at the university of Oregon are enrolled with the intention of pursuing business or pre-business. That 's quite a few educated adults all up to speed on a matter taught in introductory level college courses. Things one would hope they could expect a 50y+ business owner of multiple entities to know AND uphold.Going further, it 's honestly both disturbing and disgusting that someone could build their businesses on the backs of the American tax payer via payroll loans, only to cut every corner wherever possible. The problem is that the industry she chose is that of a premium service and her talents of finding loopholes and ways to game the system better coincide with that of a baseball player. In baseball it 's a well known fact that if you ain 't cheating, you ain 't trying. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the slogan of American 's past time and a prime example of a business owner 's willingness to go along with it.Dietary restrictions: I wouldn 't trust this individual to take your diet or allergies to heart. She has served people their allergic items many times.
