Avaliação da contribuiçãoI really miss my favorite restaurant, Taste of Sichuan, in Beaverton! They had a fire a few months back, and now it’s been tough to find anything close to their quality. We used to visit at least once a week. I wish I could say something good about Stir Crazy Kitchen, but the portion sizes we received for the price were ridiculous! The food was lacking in flavor and incredibly bland. That really captures my experience there.
I'm thrilled to have this cozy, home-style Chinese restaurant close by! As a vegetarian, I tend to stick with my favorites: Ma Po tofu, stir-fried green beans, and hot and sour soup. While this place may not serve the most authentic Sichuan Ma Po tofu, it’s still very tasty! I also appreciate the plain rice they offer, especially since many other Chinese restaurants provide mediocre white rice and charge extra for it!
Recently, we ordered takeout and were pleasantly surprised by the General Tso's chicken and the salt and pepper squid. However, the broccoli beef was underwhelming. The rice was somewhat dry, and one of the other dishes, which I can't quite remember the name of, contained very little meat, despite being labeled as a meat dish. I might consider giving this place another try, as the overall food quality was decent. There aren't many good Chinese takeout options in the area, so it’s worth checking out. We did experience a longer wait than the estimated time for our order. All in all, it was a decent experience.
