Stir Crazy Kitchen has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for years. Unfortunately, things seem to have changed in the last few months. Some dishes, such as their orange prawns, are much better now than they used to be, so there have been some improvements. However, this restaurant has always been my favorite because of their hot and sour soup, I've ordered a cup of it in the restaurant as well as a bowl to-go so I can have some to take home with me. The recipe appears to have changed, and I'm so disappointed. The soup has a weird metallic aftertaste, different texture, and less flavor than it used to. It's worse than the cheap packets you can buy at the grocery store to make it at home. I'm really hoping this time was just a one-off. Incredibly disappointed, it's been my go-to for any time I've ever been under the weather... I might have to find a new restaurant to go to from now on. :
