Louisiana Crab Shack - Bee Cave

We loved the crab. Hush puppies and beignets were the best ever!!! Try the crab with the bottom of the swamp seasoning. The garlic bits were heavenly!!!!

The food and service are great. We had the boil in bag shrimp, Cajun fries, fried shrimp, and chicken quesadillas. Really awesome!! I'm from Houston and have spent a lot of time in NOLA and really miss great Cajun and seafood. Louisiana Crab Shack is now my go-to place in Austin for great Cajun!!

10/10 would want to live here if I could, the food is amazing and they have great service here

The food was good but the service was very disappointing. They never checked on our drinks , my son asked for the chicken quesadilla and he's didn't get any chicken. He asked to the server for chicken and she said she was going to bring a side of chicken and it never arrived . The workers were just hanging out .

Okay so here is the deal. I go to LA and MS quite a bit to see relatives and we have a big crayfish boil every visit starting with about 150lbs of crayfish and then the fixings. It is absolutely awesome and the best I have had. Let's go to this restaurant, my expectations were low but I can say they absolutely did a great job. Not as spicy as I personally like but they brought out the scorpion seasoned sauce which had great heat. The corn, sausage, potatoes, shrimp and crayfish were cooked just right in my boil batch. For the experts, take the time to read the menu, they spell out what they add. I give them 5 stars considering we are in Austin Texas land locked.
