Volveremos!!!
Very nice idyllic place with very nice owner. Ask for the lamb shoulder if you are there. Fantástico. Also very nice wine.
We took a wine tour with friends with the intention of dining in the evening. The tour was very interesting and worthwhile. Food is very tasty with great starters and local main dishes but service is slow. This isn't a problem, especially since you're eating in such a lovely local place but just come mentally prepared to be here all night, tasting wine and food. Highly enjoyable and a repeat visit will be on the cards once it warms up.
We didn't actually eat at the restaurant, we visited late in the afternoon for a private wine tasting. Mr. Xavier Vendrell, one of the many generations of family winemakers, was there to serve us our samples of delicious wines and cava. It was intimate, quaint, and Mr. Xavier was overly pleasant! We received a tour of the facility which is truly amazing. Wine, history, family, all wrapped up into one awesome place! We purchased a bottle of CAVA which ofcourse was great, and were able to take lots of pics of the old barrels and wine making machines. Truly a really cool operation and experience. Very intimate setting and very non commercial. I absolutely recommend a visit to this place. Lastly, my wife left her purse at the restaurant late at night. We didn't realize it until the next day and started freaking out. Long story short, Mr. Xavier hand delivered her purse to our hotel in Barcelona. That explains the level of customer service that this family oriented winery and restaurant provides. Simple unparalleled. We did the private tour through Spanish Trail tours who hand selected this winery as one of their favorites. Highly recommended.
