Jing Lian Zhai Hepingli - Beijing

The restaurant was really hard to find. We had to ask a local to explain how to get there. Luckily we could finally find this place. The restaurant is not too busy as it was almost empty when we came to lunch. The menu was massive and had a picture of any dish that was very comfortable. The food was delicious (always something too oily) and really cheap. It was the cheapest restaurant for everyone we visited in China. The staff was nice and helpful. I will definitely visit again when I am in Beijing!

I travel a lot, but am often too lazy to review restaurants. I went to this one twice last year and was super excited to go back today. It didn 't disappoint me in the least. After trying it again I would have to say this is the best Chinese veggie restaurant I 've ever been to. The food is incredible (the sweet and sour fish , drool . They servers speak no English but are super sweet and patient. The menu is all photos and the food that comes looks even better then the pictures. The portions are big. I cannot recommend enough going here, even for non vegetarians. Location is a little tricky to find, so make sure the blue dot on your gps is working ;

This restaurant is amazing. The staff is very friendly - the lady who took my order even found another staff member who spoke English to tell me that I had probably ordered too much food and that the portions were larger than they appeared in the menu photos. I ordered noodles with assorted vegetables and it was a massive bowl filled with fresh noodles, 5 different types of mushrooms, Goji berries, and ginger. The knödel were also very big. The restaurant is easy to locate using Google Maps, just follow the coordinates provided.

It was very easy to find the restaurant with the large green sign outside. The staff were very pleasant, although they had to intervene to prevent us from ordering the entire menu! I went with two meat lovers who were very satisfied (especially with the lamb shashlik). I highly recommend this place, I particularly enjoyed the variety of mushrooms offered. I would definitely come back for the gluten-free and black mushroom options. It's a shame I can't eat here every day.

I have visited this restaurant a few times and highly recommend it. They offer delicious vegan Chinese dishes with friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices.
