Avaliação da contribuiçãoPeople can say what they want, but when you are serious about steak, Del Frisco 's is your place. I have eaten at Del Frisco 's for years and NEVER had anything but an amazing meal. Their soups are so good, they make you realize that skipping breakfast and lunch was a good idea. My friends swear by the Lobster Bisque, but I can 't get away from the onion soup, which is probably the best in the city, no exaggeration. The salads are good but two warnings: 1. the Caesar salad has actual anchovies, and 2. salads are bush league for true carnivores. The little girls can have 'em, but grown folks know that they are just filler. Also, I will say that I normally eschew appetizers when I am having a great steak, but if they have the fried green tomatoes in season, you HAVE to get them. So let 's talk about steak. The hardest part is which one to order and most people are loyal to their cut. My hardest decision is always whether or not to go for the Prime Rib, because theirs is awesome, but there 's nothing like the sizzling plates of steak they serve at Del Frisco 's. I have to say, I am addicted to the Ribeye, though many of my friends swear by the filet. Pretty much you can 't lose either way, so divide and conquer. The sides are as expected, but the standout is the green phunque (pronounced funk) casserole, which is a blend of spinach, cheese, and bacon and it a perfect match to the hearty steaks. Again, you need to save your appetite for a meal like this (not to mention a little cash, especially if you plan on having a bottle or two of wine with dinner), but the whole experience is well worth it. It 's nice for couples by the fireplace, or take a group and live it up in the back room. I took a group of my employees there for dinner one night and they still talk about it. In summation, THIS is the place for folks that like a GREAT traditional steak and potatoes meal decently executed.
