Avaliação da contribuiçãoIt was our first time here with some friends. Our friend was DJ for the night and put on some great music for a fun and casual atmosphere. The food was delicious from the calamari to the meatballs, to the steak, burgers and fish tacos! Everything tasted amazing and drinks were just as tasty! Highly recommend checking this place out, we will definitely be coming back soon!
Saw this new establishment on Open Table decided to give it a shot. We were glad we did! Food cocktails were excellent. Atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable. We will surely be back best of luck!
We are very happy to have Bar Americano in this space! Food was delicious and staff was attentive. We will be regulars without a doubt. I just hope they offer either specials or change the menu every now and again
More people should know about this place. Darcell our server was exactly what we needed with our big party. He commanded the table, was the when he was needed and wasn't overbearing. Guided us thru the starter and our entree choices. Everything exceeded our expectations from the jump. From The beer selection to the prosciutto focaccia to our handmade pastas. One of our guests got the Bronzino and he loved it. Overall terrific spot and handled fantastic by the staff.
Very nice decor inside and food selections are refreshingly more eclectic, such as the grilled octopus, and scallops with polenta, both of which we had. I can tell the chef takes special care in selecting quality ingredients in his dishes and it shows. Your scallops and octopus were noticeably fresh and prepared with care. The crunchy calamari is likely the freshest in the area. What I think would take this to 5 stars is two small simple changes: 1) The heavy approach to some food items: the oil on the grilled octopus appetizer dish and the heavy scallop with polenta dish. While polenta is traditionally heavy with butter and milk/cream, this polenta portion is very large and too heavy to enjoy if you've already enjoyed an appetizer and bread. Consider providing a smaller polenta portion and even lighten the fat in the recipe a bit. For this $26 entree you already provide a value in quality so guests should not be clamoring for a take home bag. 2) We were greeted by 2 different waiters and menus handed to us but no specials or explanation of family style portions until we asked later. Maybe some small training adjustments on the front of the house will line up with the upscale decor of your restaurant.I look forward to the next time raising a glass of your delicious Chianti!
