The Iron Gate - Belmont

We went to lunch for my aunt's Bday. Great service, never had to ask to fill Ice tea or soda glass. They had the fixed price meal for 37 for lunch with a great mushroom appetizer, Sole for main course, and of course Chocolate mousse for dessert. After everyone saw my mousse they order desserts too. For my aunt they gave her ice cream as a surprise with a candle. You really don't get service like that any more. I love going to lunch but make sure you have a reservation. We were there at 11:30 by 12:30 it was fairly crowded.

We celebrated my 98 year old mother’s inurnment here. Superb food, beverage, ambiance and exceptional service!

Excellent service. Interesting menu. Very knowledgeable servers. They understand the preparations and nuances behind each dish and the wines. Pricey but worth it!

Always an outstanding experience at the Iron Gate. Steve our waiter was fantastic and very attentive, the service is like no other. The food also as always cooked to perfection, everything ws wonderful. We love this place, it's the last of it's kind.

Reception, servers and the food were great and I will come back again. But what I am not happy about is, I paid $55 for a $10 bottle of Sterling Vintner's Collection Cabernet Sauvignon wine.
