Contrary to Subway's recommended guidelines, the portions of toppings were noticeably less than expected. When I asked for more pickles, the staff member gave me attitude and instructed another employee at the register to charge me extra for the additional veggies. I’m already paying $10 for a sandwich that is mostly bread at this point, so it was disappointing to say the least. Then I was surprised to find that they charged for two bags, despite not providing any, adding $0.50 to my bill. We have contacted our credit card provider to dispute this unwarranted charge. This entire interaction felt unreasonable. In a previous visit at this location, I ordered sides and drinks with our sandwiches expecting the combo price, only to find on the receipt that they charged each item a la carte, resulting in a higher total cost. This lack of transparency in pricing is concerning and misleading for customers..I rent the extra mile on behalf of all the negative reviews I see here about unwarranted up-charges and submitted this feedback to the corporate office to reach the franchisee and corporate management so that they can address these issues and align this location’s practices with Subway's standards for customer satisfaction and transparency in pricing.I have been a Subway customer for as long as I can remember and I usually go to another location where I have never had these issues. Unfortunately, two for two with bad experiences at this location means I’ll be taking my business to another franchise location because on principle I refuse to be surprised with multiple up charges while being given attitude from the staff, no thanks. At the time of writing this they already have an abysmally low rating of 2.8 stars on Google maps due to similar issues of erroneous charges and bad attitudes, likely same on Yelp. At what point will the corporate office step in to save their brand reputation in Belmont, CA? It’s probably worth intervening considering this city alone has demographics like 28K residents with a median income of $180K+ . My guess is residents will either pass on the experience here all together or if they really want Subway they’ll go a mile away to the one in San Carlos, CA where they’re highly rated at 4.1 stars…I’d imagine the Belmont location has plenty of other unhappy customers who are not in the outlier population willing to give a review. I wonder how many others have just decided to go somewhere else and not bother giving feedback for this location? The remaining customers who go are likely sad with the experience or are first timers who will soon leave with a bad taste in their mouth
This is like the worst subway. I ordered online and even paid for it. And I’m at store still waiting 30 mins past my food should have been readied for pickup. The worst worst place to get a fast food as it sucks and is slower than a sit down meal. Please go to some other subway. They did the whole order wrong, bread wrong, sauce wrong and everything wrong.
The way the Indian guy put no work into making my sandwich and messes up my order just proves that some people are A holes
I bought a pretzel but first had to wait along time for elder lady to stop sweeping the floor and wash hands. She looked in the back and said something to the person but did not request there help. A few weeks later I wanted a pretzel but saw the same lady sweeping the floor. NOT AGAIN!
Worse philly cheese sandwich I have ever had. ?? subway has become trash to say the least.
