Avaliação da contribuiçãoOn a lovely summer weekend, stumbled on this nice brewery, next to old Beloeil and its great church. Great terrasse overlooking the Richelieu, with a great set of home brews, extremely cheezy tacos plate, and the best service ! I recommend it highly !
My wife and I went to Les Brasseurs du Moulin in September to celebrate my first day of retirement. Friends join us to celebrate on their beautiful terasse. As micro brewery they always ans excellent list of beer selection on tap combined with great food to match. Any time of the year, a great place to enjoy in the Old Beloeil!Cheers!Robert
Going on one of our favorite routes, along the Richelieu river we were going to stop at our regular "go to" place, however it was closed on this particular Sunday. We backtracked a bit and found this little gem.The food we ordered was great. My wife had the roasted veggies with a Cesar salad and I had the vegetarian pizza. Good stuff.Service was great but our waiter only spoke french which is not a problem for us.The decor is that of an old Quebec House with thick wood tables and all stone walls. We loved it.The terrace out back has a beautiful view of the River. Bonus! This may become our new "go to" spot.
We were in the company of friends yesterday & decided to take them to Vieux Beloeill. We parked in Mont-St-Hilaire & walked across the jordi Bonet bridge & along to old Beloeil . It was such a lovely evening that we decided to stay & eat out. It was the thought of the different beers that drew the attention of the men & the view of the river us ladies! Brasseurs du Moulin has a very big terrasse ,( you need to go round to the back by the river) & we were seated promptly despite the fact that they were very busy. The service was very efficient, the beers were soon served. & declared very good. I actually had a White wine Sangria, which seemed to be more Sangria juice than wine....but it was very refreshing! One thing missing which would be nice, water! Especially when it's hot but I guess the aim really is to sell beer!! The menu is quite small but the food was very good. three of us chose Pizzas & one, Lasagna with stringed pork. Very nicely presented, the pizzas had very thin crusts allowing the taste of the toppings to shine through. The Lasagna came in 4 roll style & looked great. My friend totally demolished it & declared it delicious! The view from the Terrasse was lovely, we looked across the River Richelieu to Mont St-Hilaire bathed in a soft glow of the pre- setting sun watching boats going to & fro on the water. A very pleasant evening .
If you are looking for a micro brewery in the area you definitely can not go wrong. Great setting, nice ambiance and good finger food. I am not old by any means but I did not feel comfortable here...not to say that it isn't good far from it. But if you are in the area on a hot day going for an afternoon drive or walk and you want to try a artisan beer, the setting is perfect.
