Avaliação da contribuiçãoI grew up going to Begur every year, and this was really like coming home. Its a nice and friendly place, with Good Good food. I recommend the jamon, with pan con tomate.
When we arrived early on a rainy evening Begur was empty. But a quick look at the TripAdvisor reviews prompted us to go inside. We weren't disappointed. Our waiter was professional and explained each dish accurately. We started with a creative and tasty green salad. We each ordered something else...rack of lamb (not quite as pink as it should have been but tender and tasty), duck breast, mushroom risotto and veal. The meat dishes were served with the same vegetables and potatoes but they were delicious too. Combined with a dry, white Spanish wine it was a delicious, memorable and not too expensive meal. Our compliments to the chef!
Delicious food in a delightful low key restaurant next to the canal. Octopus and lentil starter followed by roast duck with shallots and finished with a wonderful gâteau fondu.
Excellent food, very personal host, the cook comes and asks personally if the meals were ok and enough. Small menu but it only concentrates the best of the quality. I would never think of this kind of excellence when I saw the neighborhood and how tiny the restaurant is. I hope writing this review I won´t spoil the magic of this place and it will stay our secret hint.
