Do not expect a high-quality kitchen, but enjoy traditional meals in a traditional local. wood floors, fresh linen tablecloths, high-quality crockery, impeccable service and the best berliner art rostleber with swirling, kartoffel puree and soned. (as mama did earlier) in short, home cooking at a place where I feel at home.
After some time we were back in the old villager in lübars. the ambiente is as great as ever. we wanted to enjoy one of the first warm days of the year in the beer garden there. this was filled to about 70% but the service was even worse than in the past years and it was not even nearly able to satisfy the visitors. at almost all tables around us were fed false or drinks and complained about the waiting period. after about 35 minutes and three times we have asked if we should order it again. a pity how to break such a great location.
The old gasthof is an institution, the menu contains a small story of this building, which today still calls for a break, which we translate today as relaxing or chilling, but means "horse stretching". Service fast and friendly. had two berliner cattle livers. large portion properly prepared and that during normal trips. local was well visited
