HUGE portions in this tiny off the beaten path restaurant that seems to be largely frequented by locals rather than tourists. Not the whole staff spoke English. Limited menu, almost entirely spaetzle, both hot and cold varieties. One dish was more than enough food for...2 women.
We checked ahead to ensure it was open before making the journey of a thousand empty stomachs. We were gagging to check this place out and get a feed but along with two other victims we ran into when we arrived, it was not open......boooooooo!.
Spaetzle club is a real local lunch place! We found mainly workers and people who sat there for their lunch break no tourists (beside us) and good food good prices! recommended.
Warmly greeted, we and all other customers. Simple menu and the gentleman was helpful in explaining all, including the available drinks. Probably the best spaetzle I've had. While slightly salty and a bit greasy, this is probably the norm for this dish--just expect it and...have a lemonade to compensate. Food arrives quickly, great for a fast lunch or dinner.
