Volkskammer - Berlin

What a treasure this restaurant is for this area. We arrived with no reservation early on a Friday night and were able to be seated right away. (Busy place so reservations would be a good idea if you can plan ahead) We had the schnitzel, goulash soup and schapaka salad. The soup and salad were enough for a meal for me. The bowl of salad was full of fresh chopped vegetables with lots of feta and dressing. A large serving of schnitzel came with fresh home fries. Finished with the delicious chocolate cake that was very dense and moist. A beer, soda, and tea rounded out the meal. Service was excellent and personable. For everything it was about 53.00 euros. Excellent value for really good food.

Hidden gem in east part of the city, fresh food and very taste. We have the Thuringia roasted meat and goldboiler chicken, excellent both. Beers was good and refreshing Pilsner Service was outstanding thanks to Manuel. Ambience outside was quiet and breezy, definitely a place to come back.
