El Mezquite - Bernal

The restaurant made a special reservation for us, as they were closed during our time of visit. The view whilst dining from the garden is absolutely amazing. The dishes were traditional and very well prepared (Stuffed chili with local cheeze, stuffed chili with pomegranate and the special sweet and spicy chicken). all in all one of the best places we've eaten during our trip!

Stopped by for breakfast. The view of the Pena is great and the mesquite tree is beautiful. The food and coffee was regular.

Although the menu includes main typical Mexican food, the service is very slow. Last weekend I went with my family and the waiter forgot some of us to be served, he got confused with beverages and at the end the check was a complete mess. It is a pity because the restaurant is well located and the view to the Peña is magnificent!

We ate dinner at El Mezquite for a private event and it was to die for! The food was delicious and service quality. Not to mention the wonderful atmosphere. High recommended.

Beautiful restaurant and excellent food. A little hidden away it is a great choice. Lots of green, fresh even on a hot day.
