South on Albany - Berry

I was a solo diner at South on Albany and instantly felt welcome in the intimate setting. Sonia and John and their team delivered on fresh, balanced flavours and thoughtful wine pairings. The wine list offers a wide selection of local wines. I particularly enjoyed a glass of fiano with my entree. The atmosphere was inviting and I felt relaxed in the care and attention to detail that was provided in all aspects of my experience. I look forward to coming back when I’m in the area next with some company.

Consistent exceptional. warm smiles at them in this boutique restaurant in berry. the central table is decorated with a beautiful wild flower arrangement flanked by glittering stielware. contempt for detail, care and consideration are evident from the facility, music and above all the beautifully designed menu and curated wine list. john and his small team teller each plate, as there is a piece of art and the aromen never disappoint. delicious! is also important the friendly and generous hospitality that is extended by our hostess. sonia goes the extra mile to make sure that they have a fabulous evening, customize the menu to meet for nutritional requirements and production, celebrate a special experience. south on albany makes everyone visit a joy.

One of the lucky ones to be able to have lunch here. Only every couple of weeks. Food is first rate. Set menu chances weekly so even though had been before nothing we ate resembled the prior menu. From the oysters to start to the dessert all courses were terrific. If the Murray cod ever comes back on the menu book a table straight away. This was fish at its finest. I never eat the skin but this was so well cooked with crispy skin and soft moist flesh I ate the lot.Lucky Berry

Delicious food, unpretentious space with the most welcoming feels and staff I’ve ever experienced. Incredible oysters, brilliant duck soup and super tasty dessert! Highly recommended!

Had an amazing meal here recently. Comfortable indoor seating. Menu was delicious. Polite and friendly service.
