Bistro On 19th - Bessemer

Taylor Pate's dinner at her mother's restaurant was fantastic. The only downside was a long and confusing wait for payment, as they only accepted cash or the Cash App. Reservations through OpenTable were not recognized by the restaurant. Despite the slow service, our server was friendly and helpful. The shrimp and grits with conecuh sausage were delicious, as was the fried catfish with creamy grits. The creamy grits were particularly outstanding. Unfortunately, there was a lack of attention from the staff, as no one checked on us or offered tea refills or dessert. The mimosas included in the $30 prix fixe menu were strong and enjoyable.

I absolutely loved the live band at the restaurant. The food was delicious, and the establishment was exceptionally clean and beautiful.

The food was tasty, but the service was incredibly poor. Both the waitress and the owner were unwelcoming, and there were numerous issues with ordering and billing that made the overall experience unpleasant.

This is a fantastic place to enjoy drinks and food. I will definitely be returning. The hospitality is top-notch and the atmosphere is wonderful.

This restaurant is the perfect place for delicious food, drinks, live music, and entertainment! It is Bessemer's newest and top choice for dining out.
