The patio is a wonderful option on a summer night. The food was very good all around. The fries were especially good (they are fried in duck fat). There are gluten free options including a flourless chocolate torte for dessert which was delicious.

Had a really nice evening , service, food , weather ! Nice little bourbon list. Mussels and the broth ! Pork chop, swordfish and soft shell of course but we chose to get it on a bed of grilled corn , peas and pesto sauce . Strawberry rhubarb crisp and creme brulee to share . Excellent service !

It was Mother's Day, and I understand that the restaurant was busy. Our waiter was very courteous; however, there was a mistake with one order in our party of six. My daughter ordered the cheeseburger and received duck instead. She accepted the duck, although she would have preferred the amazing-looking cheeseburger. Additionally, two members of our party ordered the pork chop. It was large and thick and should have been juicy; however, they both reported that it was dry and tasteless. After reporting the issue, person did not finish the chop, but was summarily charged for it. The other chop was replaced with a cheeseburger. The beignets offered for dessert were hollow, which is not typical of this food item. The bread pudding was simply sweet and relied upon the caramel drizzle and small scoop of ice cream for additional flavor. The coffee served with dessert was lukewarm and not very robust. All in all, the manager, waiter, and staff were personable and accommodating; however, the food did not live up to previous reviews. Perhaps it was an off evening, but with a plethora of great restaurants in the DMV, there is little reason to return to this one.

It was better than 3, less than 4. I would have given 3.5, overall. Mainly because my husband's NY strip was gristly and a bit overcooked. He doesn't like to complain so he could have informed the waiter and sent it back. I enjoyed my burrata and shrimp and grits. The servers came by frequently, just not at the right times. And the one who took our order immediately forgot my drink request, asking at the end if I'd like something. Pretty quiet, very nice ambience! I'd go back.

This was our first visit and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, but that's not what made this restaurant special. It was the staff and the kindness they provided to accommodate my request due to my cancer treatment. Thank you to Michael, our server, and the rest of the team for not rushing us and letting us enjoy our company and our meal. We will be back.
