I wish they had better food containers for removal, they did not seal well, the box was full of liquids. Food is great! Loved her pastas and tried her whole fish branzino tonight, I like it with chopped garlic and herbs. All I've tried is good!
A Bethesda classic! Pines of Rome is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The food in delicious and very inexpensive, the service is fantastic, and the ambience is relaxed and wonderful. 10/10 I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal and experience!
Very nice little Italian restaurant with a large menu with plenty of choices. In our party the Cheese Ravioli with marinara sauce was a big hit, as was the antipasto salad.
Dear lord! This is by far the best sausage and spaghetti I’ve ever had. Got the sausage pepper w/spaghetti and a side of the fried garlic oil and tossed that in. Got the spicy sausage. Yummmm! Got this as take out, this pic is half the portion- huge portions here)
As an Italian- this is the worst and unauthentic Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I walked in and was told “go” when I asked for seating. The place is filthy and run down. There was no music playing and the staff was unprofessional, just rude. I got a loaf of stale bread. I requested the (white) zuppa de mussels as an appetizer which was just horrible. It tasted like dirty water with a splash of cheap wine. They claim to have a good wine selection but when I requested a red glass- was offered Carlos Rossi. (For half the price of a bottle) I was so disappointed, I didn’t even bother getting an entree and walked across the street to Trattoria Sorento. This place seems like a pizza joint with extra items they never make on the menu.
